A little bit about Mr. Busby...
Mr. Busby was born in the middle of a lightning storm on September 22nd, 1973 in Tampa Bay, Florida. He moved around quite a bit as a youngster, living in Danbury, Connecticut; Encino, California; Ridgefield, Connecticut; and Augusta, Georgia before settling down in Westlake Village, California for high school. That's right, Mr. Busby was a Westlake Warrior, graduating in 1991...he's since seen the light. Mr. Busby graduated with his degree in History from UCLA in 1995. He received his teaching credential from California Lutheran University in 1997 and his Master's in Education from CLU in 2006.
Mr. Busby is now entering his 25th year of teaching at Agoura High School. He is the Social Science Department Chair. Mr. Busby has taught Government, Economics, U.S. History, World History, Leadership, Forensics, AP European History, AP U.S. History, and AP Government in his time at AHS. He has been the Student Council advisor, Mock Trial coach, and JV Boys Basketball coach.
